In semester 2 we will be offering 2 new classes for absolute beginners on Thursdays:
A new way of enrolling
We now have an online enrolment form which we would like all students to use. This is on the enrolment page and you can access it by clicking here. After submitting the form, please make your online payment as usual and when we receive it we will send you an email confirming your enrolment.
- A lunchtime class from 12pm to 1pm at Kohinga - St Albans Community Centre
- An evening course running on Thursday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm

Film Title: “La prima cosa bella” - “The First beautiful thing” By Paolo Virzì

Synopsis: Spanned over four decades, this is the story of two siblings, their beautiful, joyful and eccentric mother and the love that binds them all.
Come along to the Aperitivo Dante and enjoy a glass of wine and a chat in Italian (or English) before the film.
Aperitivo Dante begins at 7PM.
There is no charge for CineDante but a gold koha is requested for the evening.
This viewing is reserved to financial members of Dante Society. Annual subscriptions can be paid on the night.

Giochiamo e cantiamo in italiano
Every Saturday 10-11.30am
The playgroup Giochiamo e Cantiamo insieme in italiano started on Saturday 27 of April at the Multicultural Centre in Hagley Park.
A good group of children (currently 20 enrolled) and their parents had great fun getting to know each other, playing, singing, storytelling with our beautiful BAMBINI.
A big thanks to all the teachers, helpers and parents alike. We are looking forward to be together again next Saturday at 10am. EVVIVA!

Festa della repubblica
Sunday 9th June 12.30pm
On Sunday 9th June at 12.30pm we will celebrate "La Festa delle Repubblica" at Kohinga - St Albans Community Centre in room 2 (the same room as CineDante). Our Dante society is pleased to offer its members and friends pizza & prosecco. This is a free event, however a gold coin is appreciated on the day.
Roberta Panareo will briefly talk about the history behind this important day for Italians. If there is enough interest, after the light lunch we will play Italian card games (scopa, briscola, etc). For catering purposes, please register your attendance by clicking on this link.
