There will not be CineDante or a Dante Meeting in October - hopefully in 2022 we will be able to return to normal events.

Christchurch Heritage Festival
We're very sorry to inform you that the Heritage Italian Children event scheduled on 23rd October will not go ahead as it seems unfair to ask the children - many of them very young, to maintain the 1-metre distance required by the level 2. Sharing food is not permitted and all organisers/presenters would have to wear a mask at all times. Not much fun!
The event has been cancelled and we would like to re-organise it when we get to level 1.
Book Club

The Night of Rome by Carlo Bonini and Giancarlo De Cataldo
The third and final book for 2021 is going to be discussed on Wednesday 27th October at Kohinga: St. Albans Community Centre at 7pm. Even though you may not have enrolled in the course, you can still come along and pay the single rate ($17). Included is the chance to try a traditional recipe inspired by the book.
The book can be borrowed from CCC Libraries. Visit this link for more information.
