Christchurch Heritage Festival 2020 - Meet the Ancient Romans
Sunday 8 November
Explore ancient Roman and Italian Heritage at the UC Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities in collaboration with the Dante Society.
Join one of the free guided tours of the new exhibition 'Myths and Mortals' at the Teece Museum followed by a 45 minute talk by Associate Professor Enrica Sciarrino, University of Canterbury, who will explore the gastronomic culture of Southern Italy represented in vases and objects of the Logie Collection at the Teece Museum.
10am - tour 1, 25 person max
11am - tour 2, 25 person max
12 noon - public talk in the Recital Room by Associate Professor Enrica Sciarrino, 60 people max.
1.00pm - across the road at the Botanical Gardens, light refreshments provided by the Dante Society - no need to book for this.

Scuola Dante: Gran Finale - Festa di Natale per studenti

Francesca, Rosa, Roberto, Lisa, Brunella, Maria and Jan wish to thank all the students for their friendship, commitment and appreciation of our beautiful country and language.
On Sunday 6th of December - all students invited - from 4pm-5.30pm in the big hall at Puriri St. to celebrate together the Gran Finale - Festa di Natale!
Prosecco & Panettone offered by the Dante society, each class to bring ONE platter of snacks to go with the prosecco.
