2014 Comedy - 105 min - Rated M for Sex scenes & offensive language
Synopsis: Following a serious health issue, psychoanalyst Marcello decides to shut down his practice. However, his eccentric and dysfunctional patients do not want to let him go and come to his rescue.
Come along to the Aperitivo Dante and enjoy a glass of wine and a chat in Italian (or English) before the film.
Aperitivo Dante begins at 7 pm. There is no charge for CineDante but a gold koha is requested for the evening.
This viewing is reserved to members of Dante Society. Annual subscriptions can be paid on the night.

Whether you're just starting to learn Italian or you're already fluent, you're welcome to join us! One of our teachers or someone from the Advanced Classes will be there to facilitate conversation.

Come along and join us for a friendly chat about the books we’ve been enjoying, or share your recommendations on Italian films, TV series, articles, and travel adventures. Whether it’s a gripping novel or a must-see movie, we’d love to hear your thoughts!
You’ll find plenty of inspiring reads and resources on Italian culture at the CCC Libraries. We can’t wait to welcome you!
The dates of our book club for 2025 are:
Wednesday 30 April, 7pm – 8.30pm
Wednesday 30 July, 7pm – 8.30pm
Wednesday 29 October, 7pm – 8.30pm
The book club will be held at St Albans Community Centre.
The fee for book club will be $30 for the entire programme (3 meetings), or $15 for each individual meeting.
On Wednesday, 19 February, we held our AGM for this year. Thank you to everyone who attended.
2024 has been a busy year, with activities including Italian classes, the new Italian children's playgroup, a successful concert by Sardinian artists, the Book Club, CineDante, la Festa della Repubblica, Passeggiata di Primavera, and our end-of-year celebration with students. Our finances are in good shape, and we are grateful for the Rātā Foundation’s support in funding the children's playgroup.
From a committee perspective, Louise Easter, John Wash, and Anna Hall have retired, and we sincerely thank them for their dedicated service. The new committee members are: Carlo Guglietta (President), Tricia Radford (Secretary), Jeremy Chang, Maria Fresia, Peter Hosking, Philippa McLaughlin, Brunella Olivieri, Lisa Fazi, Roberta Panareo, Enrica Sciarrino, Rosie Hill, Paola Serola, Jane Pow, and Lindsay Serra.
