AGM 2025 Outcome

On Wednesday, 19 February, we held our AGM for this year. Thank you to everyone who attended.

2024 has been a busy year, with activities including Italian classes, the new Italian children's playgroup, a successful concert by Sardinian artists, the Book Club, CineDante, la Festa della Repubblica, Passeggiata di Primavera, and our end-of-year celebration with students. Our finances are in good shape, and we are grateful for the Rātā Foundation’s support in funding the children's playgroup.

From a committee perspective, Louise Easter, John Wash, and Anna Hall have retired, and we sincerely thank them for their dedicated service. The new committee members are: Carlo Guglietta (President), Tricia Radford (Secretary), Jeremy Chang, Maria Fresia, Peter Hosking, Philippa McLaughlin, Brunella Olivieri, Lisa Fazi, Roberta Panareo, Enrica Sciarrino, Rosie Hill, Paola Serola, Jane Pow, and Lindsay Serra.

In line with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, we have updated our constitution to clarify the society's objectives and membership status. You can find the updated version here.
