FESTA DELLA REPUBBLICA
On the 6th of June 'La festa della Repubblica' was celebrated at Tūranga.
UN GRANDISSIMO GRAZIE a Tūranga, a Vanessa e allo staff della biblioteca, ai musicisti, al presentatore, al console onorario, alle amiche cuoche, agli italiani intervistati e al grande pubblico!
Two librarians, Helen and Vanessa, wrote a great blog, describing the event. You can read it here.
A brief message from Vanessa:
“Thank you again for attending the Festa della Repubblica at Tūranga Library on Sunday 6 June. If you didn’t get the chance to attend one of the tours of the Production Studio, the Audio/Video Studio or the Discovery Wall, you can find more information here:
Discovery Wall (please do upload your own stories, photos and videos to the Discovery Wall website – it’s easy and we always love more contributions to help us build up a picture of Christchurch and Canterbury over the years).
Feedback is one of the ways in which the Council determines whether something has been a success and whether more events of this type will be supported in the future. Grazie mille!”
