2026 Second Semester Enrolment

The Società Dante Alighieri di Christchurch offers Italian language courses for adults at all levels - from complete beginners to advanced learners. Our classes provide a structured and engaging environment led by experienced teachers, focusing on both language development and cultural understanding.

Our in-person courses are held at St. Albans Community Centre (1049 Colombo Street), and our online courses are delivered through Zoom.

We welcome students of all levels and abilities and look forward to helping you gain confidence, practical language skills, and a deeper appreciation of Italian culture.
Course Fee
  • $300 per semester (16 weeks)
  • Includes complimentary membership to the Società Dante Alighieri di Christchurch, giving access to cultural events, workshops, and community activities.
  • Textbooks are not included in the course fee.

Refund, Cancellation, and Other Clarifications
  • Courses are subject to minimum and maximum enrolment numbers. Classes will begin once the minimum is reached. Students will be notified in advance of any changes.
  • We cannot accept payment in installments.
  • If a preferred course is cancelled and no suitable alternative is available, a full refund will be issued before the start of the semester.
  • Withdrawals before Week 3: $50 fee + $19 per week attended.
  • Withdrawals after Week 3: no refunds.
  • Special circumstances may be considered at the discretion of the society.​​
