It’s been another successful and lively year for the Dante.
The school has grown again this year despite COVID and having to revert to Zoom classes for a couple of months. A big thank you to the six teachers and all their students!
We’ve participated in the celebration of "La settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo" with an evening of games and stories, the CCC Heritage Festival in collaboration with the wonderful Teece museum, "La Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo with 'Pizza in the Park', a wonderful afternoon at Avebury House for a merenda with exquisite cakes and a very pleasant guided walk through the centre of town.
Regrettably not many CineDante movies this year due to lockdown restrictions; no doubt Lisa has already planned a list for 2021!
THANK YOU all for being part of the Dante Society, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2021!
In the meantime, on behalf of the committee, we wish you all Buon Natale e tanti auguri per un Felice Anno Nuovo!
Italian Language School Christmas Party
The school finished the year with a party on Sunday 6th of December at St. Ninian’s Church Hall.
One class, presented the play "Il Panettone" enjoyed by all. Well done Serafina, Tony, Angelo, le 3 ziette & il narratore!
Followed by singing and delicious snacks prepared by the students, and finishing with prosecco and panettone.
