Special Presentation: An Italian ANZAC Day

We have a special talk from Belinda and John Stackhouse. What started as a request to write about a New Zealand soldier led them on a journey to northeast Italy—tracing his wartime path and uncovering how he’s still honoured by locals today. Along the way, they discovered a fascinating region far from the usual tourist trail. Everyone is welcome!

Italian Film Festival
Starting 4 September
Starting 4 September, tickets are selling fast!
This is the 10th anniversary of the Italian Film Festival and there are more movie selections than ever. You can now buy tickets from Lumière Cinemas.
Join us at 11am on Sunday, 7 September at Westend Stories for a relaxed catch-up over coffee. A few free parking spots are available nearby on Hereford and Cashel Streets (west of Montreal Street).
Participation is free – simply purchase your own drink and food at the counter.
SCUOLA DI ITALIANO
We have over 130 students this semester. Thank you to everyone who signed up for this semester's courses. If anyone wishes to sell off their used textbook (in good condition), please reach out to us on facebook or through our website.
We will announce a competition to celebrate the Week of the Italian Language in the World very soon. Please keep an eye on our website and our social media. Hint - if you haven't got a library card from the Christchurch City Library, now is a good time to have that sorted.
