ITALIAN MOVIE NIGHTS AT YOURS...

Thanks to Harvey Brehaut for his recommendation - ‘Summertime’ on Netflix. "Three series. A real soap."

Have you watched any other interesting Italian movie or show available on one of these free platforms? Send us your suggestions by emailing us here and we'll share them with our Dante community in the newsletters to come!

VIVA GLI ITALIANI A CHRISTCHURCH!

Amici, please help us ensure that Italians and Italian-Kiwis are represented in the history of Christchurch! At the moment we are almost invisible!

Have you heard of CanterburyStories.nz? If you haven’t, Canterbury Stories is a digital heritage repository hosted by Christchurch City Libraries which shares and preserves the collective histories of Christchurch people, places and events. The Libraries work to give a voice to the diverse communities that have, and continue to, shape the Christchurch we see today.

Community groups are being offered the opportunity to share their photographs and stories via Canterbury Stories and become part of the city’s ever changing history. The Libraries have two Community Stories Liaisons who will help you every step of the way including selecting your photographs, digitisation and writing descriptions. The team will then upload the content so you can share it with your community.

If you have anything you’d like to share and see featured on Canterbury Stories, contact Sarah or Simon at LibraryCommunityStories@ccc.govt.nz

Or you are always welcome to contact Vanessa, and she will help you liaise.

Grazie di cuore!
