Buona Pasqua a tutti!

Talking about Easter, have you heard of this gorgeous dessert called agnello pasquale? Agnello pasquale is a traditional Easter dessert from southern Italy, especially associated with regions like Sicily and Puglia.

Made from finely ground almonds, sugar, and egg whites (similar to marzipan), it is shaped into a lamb and often decorated with icing or candied fruit. The lamb symbolises sacrifice and rebirth in Christian tradition.

Culture Galore

Thank you to everyone who helped organise our table at Culture Galore, and a big thank you to the Multicultural Recreation and Community Centre for such a warm welcome.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community — and to those who have just joined us, benvenuti!

Giochiamo & Cantiamo Insieme in Italiano

Starting Saturday 18 April — Multicultural Centre, Hagley Park

Our Italian Playgroup returns on 18 April. Thanks to the generous support of the Rātā Foundation, the programme will continue throughout 2026.

This playgroup is for children aged 0–6 with at least one native Italian-speaking parent. A wonderful way for children to experience the language while parents connect.
