Three Enjoyable Events at 'La Dolce Vita' of Clotilde Romano
Go to beautiful Sumner, where Clotilde, originally from Naples, is holding three events.
She will teach you some secrets of the Neapolitan Cuisine e.g. seafood risotto, the art of making and rolling little fresh potato gnocchi from Sorrento, and how to make an authentic Neapolitan pizza base dough.

A celebratory tasting of fine wines from Italy
Welcome to Casamassima Italian Fare for a tasting of fine Italian wines, matched with delicious artisan-made Italian food items on the notes of the most beautiful pieces of Italian classical music.
The Società Dante Alighieri of Christchurch in cooperation with the Italian Embassy, is taking part of this world-wide celebration of Italian cuisine “La Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo” and is proud to present this event of excellence.
A selection of Special Reserve Italian Wines and Salmon, Truffle Caviar Oil, Porcini Mushrooms refinements will be served with the aim to create the best possible combination of flavours to enhance the characteristics of the matched wine.
Our wines will be tasted under the expert guidance of Associate Professor Roland Harrison, Associate Professor of Oenology and Head of the Department of Wine, Food and Molecular Bioscience at Lincoln University. Roland is a knowledgeable and entertaining host with a special interest in Italian wine and culture.
